Carrie Fleming is the President and Executive Director of Fleming Therapy Services, Inc. She graduated from the University of Toledo in 1995 with a Masters in Education and became a licensed and certified speech-language therapist in 1996. She founded Fleming Speech Therapy Services, Inc. in Stafford, VA in the fall of 2004 realizing her lifelong dream to bring high-quality speech therapy to local families in a loving and nurturing environment. Fleming Speech Therapy Services, Inc. under her leadership has flourished into a complete Pediatric Therapy center that provides Pediatric Speech, Occupational and Physical Therapy, as well as Augmentative Alternative Communication, Feeding and Aquatic Therapy in a collaborative environment.
Carrie has been licensed in four different states, Ohio, Virginia, California and Hawaii and has worked in multiple speech therapy settings including private practice, School systems and as an instructor at the University of Hawaii and University of Toledo for graduate students. She has also served as the Director for the Scottish Rite pre-school for speech and language delayed children in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has also served as a member of Toast Masters where she earned her DTM. Carrie served from 2011-2015 as Vice President of Speech Therapy to the Board of the Speech and Hearing Association of Virginia (SHAV). Carrie is the mother of six children and a retired military wife.
